Hrmm....two days since updating. Not like I've been that busy, either.

Work might finally be tapering off a little. The last few weeks have just been insane, and it has worn me out. The worst part is that there are things I lose track off, so people get pissed off and start calling the higher ups and then I get to hear about it. I suppose some good news about that is that we had a meeting this past week and apparently (hopefully) we will actually have some guidelines/policies put in place for the Help Desk in the near future. Something to give people an idea of when particular things might get taken care of - prioritizing, really. Just on a bigger scale so we all know what to be expecting of ourselves. There are literally no policies regarding much of anything right now, and it can be quite stressful. Assuming I'm still there when things start taking shape, we'll see how it goes.

Last night is a blur. The only thing I remember is that I went to bed at 1ish after playing Quake for a while, so who knows before then. Nothing interesting, it's just so boring I choose not to remember it. I was up today to go in to work for our section's move. 8 AM. God that sucks. I was there for about 5 hours, moving stuff from the 10th floor to the 14th floor and vice versa. I didn't really have any superiors there, but one of the permanent guys sure acted like it. Most of it I could take, but when he wanted me to set up one of the other Help Desk guy's computer, I said fuck no. He can take care of it himself. Besides, Eric is not my boss, so he can take a flying leap.

Also, Tim, our ordernig dude, was there later in the morning since he has moved into my supervisor's old office (who is now in a cubicle near us) and he was talking to one of the people who moved down 4 floors. During the course of the conversation, she mentioned something she wanted done, and Tim volunteered us Help Desk guys - we have the time, as "they have time to play games" so ya know, plenty of time to get this taken care of. FUCK YOU TIM. There is something wrong with a guy who takes it upon himself to check up on us. That is not your fucking job. Go be Dell's bitch now.

When I got home I was tired. My mom called twice today while I was out. I guess I'm supposed to make this decision regarding school, and I still don't know what to do. A fire has not been lit under my ass, so I don't know which way to go. I called Bonnie later in the afternoon since the original plan was to see her today, but I hadn't heard from her since Wednesday. She didn't know at the moment if she could come by, because of family visiting I believe. She said she would call me after her mom got home and she knew more. Well, that didn't happen. The wosrt part is that I expected it. I hate that. I want to be able to depend on her.

Then I took a four hour nap after trying to figure out the logic puzzle David posted in his journal. No luck yet.

Ate dinner after midnight. Watched some of the Dogma SE deleted scenes. Good stuff. I have ice cream for later. I want to listen to the 3-6AM Davis metal show tonight. I want to play Quake and Fallout 2 and Diablo 2. Must get on it!!!

Those are some good goals you have set up for yourself. Long term goals aren't important, its all about the short term. My goals are drink some coke and play Diablo II: LOD and then sleep till noon. It's good to be us!
