It's creepy when you're watching a movie and you suddenly have this… - Speak Friend and Enter
Grammar and Lord of the Rings
It's creepy when you're watching a movie and you suddenly have this amazing insight into how closely it relates to your own life, or at least the part of it you're dealing with presently. I just watched High Fidelity for the second time and I took note of the central subject of the story, that of the main character resolving feelings about past failures in relationships and finally doing something. It was interesting because lately I've been doing a lot of the same thing. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you should. It has a lot of musical trivia in it, and while most is either stuff I've never heard of or stuff I don't care about it, I have never heard the word "elitist" used in relation to music outside of USENET before this movie. I like it because I can tend to be an elitist sometimes when it comes to music. Whatever, now I'm rambling. Rent this. John Cusack does a great job. And Jack Black is a riot.
