... But I thought Megadeth died like two years ago. I must check Moshking to find out if/when that show comes down my way.

Dave resurrected them after the split with Capitol, and supposedly the first release after said split was a welcome return to the good ol' days. i personally haven't heard it so take that with a grain of salt.

Hrm. I suppose I somehow should've known that, having purchased and listened to that new CD.

IMO, however, it's less a return to the good ol' days as it is a half-hearted regurgitation of stuff that they used to do. (now, i like what they used to do. i like it a lot. however the new version of the old style is lacking depth. it doesn't make me feel ill (like risk did), but it leaves me wishing for more.)
