today we were talking about winning the lottery at work (something i dream about a lot) and i basically figure i don't need all that money, i need about $20,000 and i could go from there. i could pay off my debt, get a new car and afford to finish school. everything beyond that i can do on my own, in theory.

of course, then i did the math on a real lottery winning. say after taxes, and taking payments over 20 years, you end up with $80 million. somewhere in the middle, i think. that's $4 million per year, or over $300,000 per month. that's like, buying a house in full every month. that's just unreal. i posted a while ago about what i'd do if i won the lottery..i wonder if i have it as a memory? it makes me say "yeah $1 a week is worth it just for the chance" but i never buy a ticket. not having to worry about money, ever would be such a huge relief.

I know...I'm going to steal this idea and write an entry about what I'd do if I won. Peace BOONET. (It's all the same.) ;)
