i was interesting in going to see "Bowling for Columbine" after i read about it on the website.

then i read about the petition to wal-mart to stop selling gun ammunition, because those same bullets are killing people. yes, they are blaming wal-mart for selling bullets.

maybe its just me, but isn't that massively hypocrticial? railing on and on about how music didn't cause the columbine kids to kill people, then blaming wal-mart for selling bullets to people? i don't get that at all. plus, i noticed some dishonesty in the page talking about the petition. there are several short anecdotes about people who were killed by bullets bought at wal-mart. it goes on to mention people who worked at wal-mart involved in violent crimes, but doesn't say that the bullets were bought there. then it mentions another crime that has nothing to do with wal-mart at all, apparently. and i have to say, for a company that does $218 billion in yearly sales, surely more than 4 people are buying bullets from them, so i wonder what exactly is the justification. "if one person dies, thats enough." well, maybe in some cases, but not this one.
