Bastard. I wanted that.

IIIII have the boxed set. There!

Wait, nevermind; I'm not even that wild about their work, anymore. I much rather prefer Medieval and Classically inspired Power Metal.

In conclusion, IE are all right.

Examples of these Medieval and Classically inspired bands, please.

Iced Earth is not the greatest thing ever, true, but their passion for the music makes them a lot of fun to listen to - and the live discs RULE!

Classically Inspired (or at least I think they are):

  1. Rhapsody
  2. Blind Guardian
  3. Nightwish
  4. Edguy (closer to "normal" Power Metal, although more "mature"; Try something from the album Mandrake).

  1. Falconer (a little between "normal" and Medieval, actually)
  2. Elvenking ("I've never heard a Power Metal band sound so....Celtic" said Treavor).
  3. Tuatha de Denann (at least the song "Faeryage"; More Medieval than Power Metal, but still, I think I'll list it)
  4. Luca Turilli (Rhapsody member's solo work).

Those are all that're coming to mind, now.
