I did this music survey thing this morning for a whopping $20 (to be mailed at a later date). They played 418 songs and I had to rate them all. It came out to around 75 bands I guess - those below plus a few more I couldn't remember the names of. I think the band with the most songs played was Led Zeppelin, followed closely by Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam. Some of them were a surprise, like Toad the Wet Sprocket (god what a retarded band name). I think later I'll put more comments on them all. Or something.

Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Godsmack, Tom Petty, Offspring, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Korn, Creed, Rage Against the Machine, Stone Temple Pilots, Ozzy, Rob Zombie, Candlebox, Live, Smashing Pumpkins, Megadeth, AC/DC, Green Day, Limp Bizkit, Nirvana, Guns 'n' Roses, U2, Disturbed, Pink Floyd, Pantera (OMG CEMETARY GATES), Aerosmith, System of a Down, Jane's Addiction, Beastie Boys, Jimmy Hendrix, Rush, Linkin Park, Sublime, Tool, 3 Doors Down, Sevendust, Bush, Tesla, Primus, Kid Rock, P.O.D., Papa Roach, Stabbing Westward, Puddle of Mudd, NIN, Faith No More, Staind, Billy Idol, Beck, Temple of the Dog, Scorpions, Incubus, Lenny Kravitz, White Zombie, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Seven Mary Three, Danzig, Filter, Deftones, Days of the New, Everlast, Slipknot, Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Blind Melon, Fuel, Nickelback, Toadies, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Oleander, 311.

Re:

It's a tribute to Monty Python.

There was a skit about a band that went through something like 40 name changes in a few days or so, and "Toad the Wet Sprocket" was one of the names.
