I don't get that. I guess since he is THE man, he can bend the rule as he sees fit, but it seems awfully convenient.

A sin is the choice to do something that one knows is wrong.

God does not command anything anymore. After Christ was sent to give His message, God ceaesed intervening in Earthly affairs, thus cannot command anything to anyone, other than through antiquated texts whose "rules" don't apply anymore. He seemed more wrathful in the Old Testament. If I was one I would be, too. But of course only to punish those who deserve it.
