Its probably a good thing that I don't use my journal to recount the events of my day.

Everybody would stop reading it. I think the regular one would go something like this:

"Went to work. Work sucked. Fixed stupid problems, got bitched at for no reason, ready to leave that place. Got home, watched Simpsons rerun. I played a lot of Counterstrike tonight. Had a late dinner of frozen chicken. Talked to Amy for a while, played some Magic Online. My deck needs some serious work to be competitive. Time for bed now."

Gah, I got bored just writing that.

Well, I think your days are interesting, but I can't say that mine fare much better.

Thats just relatively speaking, probably because I have a job. To most regular folk it can't be terribly exciting.

I wouldn't say that it's because you have a job. Perhaps because you aren't one of the "regular folk" and I know you outside of LiveJournal. Generally, I think journals that are nothing but recounts of someone's day are boring, no matter how exciting they think their lives are.
