So Tennessee is on the verge of losing. Unbelievable. This throws the BCS into chaos. If Tennessee had just won the damn game, they'd be on their way to Pasadena to face Miami for the national title. But no, they had to lose.

Which means that Nebraska has a shot. Which totally sucks. They are really overrated, and Crouch probably won the Heisman today (UDPATE: He did), which he really doesn't deserve. I would love to see Oregon play Miami. Or Colorado. But not Nebraska.

The biggest problem? Nebraska did not win their own division, let alone the conference title. Colorado did. By beating the shit out of them and then holding off Texas - thats two Top 5 teams in consecutive weeks, folks. Colorado had the 2nd hardest schedule in Div. I. They are playing amazing football. They should be playing Miami. But it won't happen.

For the same reasons that BYU, who went 12-1 (would have been undefeated if it hadn't been for that pesky 72-45 loss today, OUCH) never broke into the top 10 in the BCS standings despite being a scoring machine. Too much politics, regardless of what officials say about the computers doing all the rankings.

I'm reading more about the BCS. One of the computers ranks Colorado behind both Nebraska and Texas. Are you kidding me?

Add to this the fact that Nebraska could move up in the polls several places without playing a game for 2 weeks. Yeah, thats fair.

And just to finish it off, more Heisman bashing. Eric Crouch won because he had the most exposure. I'm not just talking about games. I'm talking about the dick sucking session a couple weeks ago on a primetime NFL game. He will never make it as an NFL quarterback, its that simple. David Carr from Fresno State deserved the Heisman. The guy put up amazing numbers, the Heisman is an individual award. I don't care how many games Nebraska won while Crouch was commanding them - when was the last time a Nebraska team sucked?? There was mention of how "his critics" pointed out the TD to Interception ratio - which is less than 1. 7 TDs vs. 10 INTs. Yeah, he's the best player in college football......?????? HUH!?!?!?
